God bless America, land that I love!!!! Tell it to your neighbor!!! Ever since our flag pole broke I haven’t been able to show my USA Pride to our friends and neighbors. I’ve been needing to craft and I’ve been wanting an American wreath for our American holidays for a while now. I needed something I could make quickly (we have a 2 year old and 4 year old) and something that didn’t need a whole lot of supplies. So I found and loved these 2 ideas from 2 great blogs (Twig & Thistle and Naptime Crafts):

I decided to combine the two ideas… I just needed red, white and blue paper cups. We live close to a Michael’s and I was feeling a little stir crazy so I decided take my 2 kids and walk there on a hot hot hot day. YIKES! We even saw our neighbors (isn’t that funny) outside and asked them to come along! After a sweaty trip to Micheal’s and then an air-conditioned trip to Kroger and Party City… I finally had the paper cups I wanted. Here’s the finished product:
I think it turned out great! I love it! You can do it too, all you need is paper cups, hot glue and a ruler to space them out approximately evenly (don’t over think this by trying to make it perfect). Here are my supplies:
I’m glad I got to share this idea with you.
(This is the very first post of this blog.)
