Nordstrom Anniversary Kids Clothes

Hi everyone!  Thanks for coming over to Tell It To Your Neighbor to check out our Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Kids Clothes picks!  If you’re new here or if we’ve been neighbors for a while, you’re seeing a new website!  It’s not completely ready yet, so let’s call it a “soft opening”.  I just need to use it before it’s completely ready so I can share these finds from the anniversary sale!

My daughter will be 11 in October, she’s growing like crazy and we just cleaned out her closet.  So lucky her, she was in need of clothes and I took advantage of the Anniversary Sale (a one of a kind sale, prices go up Aug. 6th) to get ready for school!  She’s pretty happy about it! 🙂  I think she said this dress is her favorite of the bunch and she wants to wear it on the first day of school, but that could change because of these outfits are all special and they can be mixed and matched!  This dress though is very light weight and will keep her as cool as possible at recess for the first 2 hot months of school.

She’s wearing a size L (10/12) in the Split Sleeve Dress. It’s on sale for $22.90 and will go up to $35 after the sale, it comes in 2 colors.

These Glitter Sandals have been worn every day since we got them last weekend.  I don’t think she’ll be able to wear the open toe to school but I know she’ll be wearing them everywhere else! She’s wearing a size 4 in the Sandals (Sale: $25.90/ After Sale: $39.95).

Her new Red Jeans (Sale: $31.90/After Sale: $49.00) are making me want to find some for myself.  They’re so versatile, they go well with almost every top we got at the sale and what a fun color! She’s pretty tall so I had to go up a size for the length, she’s wearing a size 12.

I wish they made this Ruffle Sleeve Sweater in my size, too! She’s wearing a size L (10/12) and the price is $27.90/after sale: $42.

This top is a Comfy Sweatshirt, love the rainbow stripe on the sleeve!  She’s wearing a L (10/12) and the sale price is: $22.90/ after sale: $35.00.

What an easy outfit this is! I like this Polka Dot Top because it’s long, great for leggings and a great sale price: $13.90/after sale: $22.00. She’s wearing a size L in the top. These Moto Pant Leggings she had last year in green and wore the heck out of them so this year we’ll change the color! Another great sale price at $13.90/after sale: $22.00 and she’s wearing size L.

Same pants, different top, more mixing and matching success!  This super soft Varsity Burnout Tee is a little sheer so she’s wearing a tank top underneath it, apparently worth it to her because she doesn’t like to do that often.  She’s wearing a size L and the sale price is $21.90/after sale: $34.00.

Another thing about this Tee, I like the way it has a scoop detail in the back.  Now let’s talk about the Shoe, she had to have the booties!  I’m trying to minimize the number of shoes we have because last year they were left all over the house.  So this year it’s a sneaker, a sandal, a boot and a slip on and no more… if I can help it!  She’s wearing a size 4 in this comfy bootie and the sale price is $39.90/ after sale: $59.90.

This Ruffle Sleeve T-shirt Dress, I feel like I don’t have to write any words about it because it speaks for itself, this is my favorite.  I do need to tell you how lightweight it is because lightweight dresses have become a need for her.  She likes to wear them the most but she doesn’t like to be hot at recess, this dress is a success. She’s wearing a size L (sale price: $22.90/ after sale: $35.00).

And this detail on the back of the Dress, yep, it speaks for itself.

I’m passed my deadline on my promise of this post to you so I’m going to try and just give you the item, size and price information for the remainder of this post and let the photo speak for itself just like it did for the dress. 😉 Shine On Stripe Peplum Tee, she’s wearing a size M, sale price: $21.90/ after sale: $34.00. Twiggy Skinny Ankle Jeans, she wearing a size 14 (not a typo), sale price: $38.90/ after sale: $59.00.

The softest Balloon Sleeve Sweater for the chilly classroom! Size L, sale price: $29.90/ after sale:$45.00.

It the Sweater comes in 2 colors and she still can’t decide which one to keep!

Another one I wouldn’t mind having myself! Leggings, size M (8/10), sale price: $31.90/ after sale: $49.00.  Sports Bra, size L (10/12) , sale price: $18.90/ after sale: $29.00.  Tank, size L (10/12), sale price: $18.90/ after sale: $29.00.

Last year on this blog I think I declared that we weren’t buying heavy winter coats because we don’t experience winter in Houston and then we had the coldest longest winter of her life so this year she picked out a coat, ha!  Faux Fur Hooded Parka, size L (10/12), sale price: $45.90/ after sale: $69.00.

I love that my Husband took my Son (8 years old) to the boys section and I thought they’d come back with a bunch of athletic clothes but this handsome outfit was the bulk of their purchase. Smart move! It’s sized big enough on him that I think we’ll make it from Thanksgiving to Easter! Blazer, size 10, sale price: $69.90/ after sale: $105.00.  Button Down, size 10, sale price: $37.90/ after sale: $57.90.  Pants, size 10, sale price: $29.50/ after sale: $39.00.

Here’s another handsome outfit on the comfier side.  Great for church! Under Armor Threadborne Golf Shirt, size M, sale price: $25.90/ after sale: $40.00. Woven Jogger Pants, size M (8/10), sale price: $25.90/ after sale: $39.00.

Here’s another look at the Under Armor Shirt with Nike Dry Fleece Training Pants because this is how his clothes are used, in mega movement. Training Pants, Size S, sale price: $29.90/ after sale: $40.00.

In my best Oprah voice: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has Natives on sale in the ASTROS team colooooooors!! Native shoes, size 4, sale price: $25.90-$29.90/ after sale: $40.00-$45.00.

My kiddo lives for his robe and he has been wearing one 3 sizes too small so this was the first thing in my shopping cart for him! Hooded Plush Robe, size 10/12, sale price: $25.90/ after sale: $39.00.

That’s a wrap! These thumbnail pictures are links to everything in this post but if you’d like to see it all at once instead of scrolling, go to my new #nsale shop page here: SHOP MY #NSALE.

Thank you and happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping!  Let me know if you have any questions!

The best gift tomorrow will be a boy turning 12! ♥️🥳

These streamers took me years to find. Years searching on the internet even though they were right under my nose! My Mom used to use them at every birthday, she’d throw them all over the chandeliers. They were messy fantastic! I finally figured out they are called Serpentine Throws or Streamers. And when you call them by the right name you can find them everywhere!

Have y’all seen the @expedia Super Bowl commercial with Ewan McGregor? The ad of course is trying to get me to go to their site and travel but I like that it FIRST is trying to convince me to not spend on STUFF! It feels like they are putting my purpose before my money and I’m just going to believe that because I love it! 🙌

The photos above are all mine and have all been taken since the last Earth Day. They are all #nofilter and if you swipe left you can see their location. Also my file for this post has 76 photos 😆 so it was hard to narrow down to the annual nine! Keep swiping for bonus Planet Earth!

Easter snapshots 👆 and my notes from @thejohnst Easter snapshots 👆 and my notes from @thejohnstephens’ message we streamed from @levyparkhouston (because we didn’t want to leave our lovely family breakfast to get ready in time to be early enough to find a seat at @chapelwoodumc 👌):
•Created to value and focus on the intangibles.
•Set your heart on things above.
•Live in the light of the resurrection, that’s what Easter means.
•The WORST things are NEVER the LAST things. ♥️

I started listening to/reading the Bible back in February. It’s something I’ve wanted to do my whole adult life. I’m following a chronological Bible in a year plan, listening to cliff notes and trying to finish faster than the whole 365 days. It is a struggle and I can’t believe I’m actually doing it! 😫💪🏼 I’m on day 64 and I just looked up how far I have to go before I get to the event we celebrated this past weekend. I have to make it to Day 274 for the first mention of Jesus and Day 319 for the resurrection. My friends and family have heard me say quite often, “I can’t wait to get to Jesus.” And I’m also looking forward to the New Testament on @audible because I found a version read by @johnnycash! Now if I’m going to make it to Jesus and Johnny I’m going to have to change up what I’m doing for the Old Testament. Do y’all have any recommendations on audible? I’m looking for the impossible: a voice that’s captivating and storytelling but not dramatic and cheesy. And a version that’s easier to read in general. Any help in the comments below would be great for all to read! 👇 Thank you and Happy Easter! 🙏🏼
